The St. Thomas Police have recovered over $450 worth of stolen watches following an incident that took place in a downtown restaurant. On Sunday (Jan 19) afternoon around 12:30 p.m. the STPS received a complaint about a male that was consuming alcohol inside an unlicensed restaurant in the city’s downtown.
When officers arrived they took the male into custody where they seized several brand new watches during a search that was conducted. The seized watches were traced back to Walmart where the suspect was recorded on security video stealing the watches worth over $450.
As a result the male, 26 year old Tyson Cushman of St. Thomas has been charged with 4 counts Breach of Release Conditions and 1 count Theft Under $5000.
