The Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni are returning to St. Thomas this April for another charity hockey game and tickets go on sale this Sunday (Feb 16). The Canadian Mental Health Association Elgin Branch will be bringing the alumni back for another charity game against the St. Thomas Police Service on April 4th at 7 p.m.
CMHA has also announced that Inn Out of the Cold St. Thomas – Elgin will be the recipient of funds that are raised from the game.
Shelley Barrett-Green with CMHA Elgin explains what the day will look like.
Barrett-Green says the community really came through by supporting last years event.
CMHA Elgin brought the Leafs alumni to the Joe Thornton Community Centre last year in a highly anticipated sold out game which saw them raise over $40,000.
Tickets to this years event will cost $15 for general admission and $100 for VIP. VIP tickets will be available for purchase at the Joe Thornton Community Centre on Sunday during the Stay True Tattoo Semicolon Tattoo Day fundraiser for CMHA.
Those wishing to purchase tickets can do so through Eventbrite once the link is active on Sunday.
