The St. Thomas Curling Club is the home of some high-level curling starting this afternoon and running right through Sunday. The 2020 Senior Provincial Championships bring the top 8 men’s and women’s teams to the city vying for top honours and the right to advance further explains Colin Sinclair of Curling Ontario.
Sinclair adds some of the curlers have competed at the national and international level.
The action began at 2:30 this afternoon (Wednesday) with the opening ceremonies set for 5:45 this afternoon and continues through Sunday. There is no admission charge and plenty of free parking at the St. Thomas Curling Club, 38 Parkside Drive.
