At a presentation today (Tuesday) where an $8,000 cheque was presented to the United Way of Elgin Middlesex, the employees and management of Entegrus were recognized for their efforts, not only this year but in the past.
Mary Jane Ferriman, United Way development officer, thanked the employees and Entegrus president and CEO Jim Hogan for their yearly committment to the United Way. It is an example of their dedication to the local community, stressed Ferriman.
Hogan noted it is important for the utility to do their part to make St. Thomas a better community.
Ferriman added, contributions from organizations like Entegrus are an example of employees and management putting so much of their valuable resources each year into the United Way fundraising campaign.
Through their contributions, they are changing the lives of people in the community year after year.
