The Elgin County OPP are continuing to investigate following a collision involving a single ATV on Saturday (Mar 21). Officers were called to the scene of Quaker Rd near Roberts Line in Central Elgin around 5:30 p.m. Police says that the lone operator, a 36 year old from Central Elgin, appeared to have lost control of the ATV and was thrown from the vehicle.
The 36 year old driver was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries where they remain in critical condition.
The OPP’s Technical Traffic Collision Investigators were on scene to assist with the investigation which is ongoing.
