Premier Doug Ford announced today (March 24) the cost of electricity for all residents, small businesses and farms in Ontario will be held at off-peak rates for the next 45 days. Ford says they recognize the sacrifice people are making by doing the right thing and staying home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ford says they are providing flexibility for you to work from home. He adds people will save over 50% compared to regular peak rates. The Premier also announced they will be keeping ONroute locations open to support truck drivers who are keeping essential supplies moving.
