Effective immediately, St. Thomas Foodland is implementing new Physical Distancing Guidelines throughout their store. These new guidelines that are consistent with those being rolled out across the country for most food store operations will help control physical distancing between customers and employees in an effort to keep everyone safe.
The store will now have a 35 customer limit and a outside queue respecting a 2m distance between customers will be created during peak volume times. They have also installed one way direction markers on the floor in each aisle and signs on the floor at the front checkout area.
Foodland will be limiting 1 person per family to enter the store and shop and will be asking those that use reusable bags to pack their own groceries at this time. They also remind everyone that 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. daily is their Seniors Shopping Hour and would ask customers to please respect that and avoid shopping during this time.
