A staff member at Walmart Tillsonburg has tested positive for COVID-19.
Information on when the employee last worked at this location has not been released at this time.
In an email response from Walmart Canada, they say out of an abundance of caution employees identified as being in close contact have been directed to self-isolate and they are continuing their regular enhanced cleanings.
Further, they say they have contacted local health authorities and the store remains open and they will continue to take measures necessary to ensure the well-being of their customers and associates.
They add they are keeping the associate in their thoughts and wish them a speedy recovery.
