It only took a few phone calls for area farmers to organize a tribute to the front line workers at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital.
Wednesday evening, more than 60 farm vehicles of all shapes and sizes circled the hospital in dramatic fashion.
It was a gesture of solidarity, explains rally organizer Glen Debrabandere, an Aylmer area farmer.
He says participants included farmers from the Aylmer and St. Thomas area and from as far away as Iona. Debrabandere added, this is something you just don’t do every day.
