The St. Thomas Police are investigation after officers seized an abandoned bag containing suspected stolen property including multiple weapons. Officers on Community Patrol seized the abandoned brown leather laptop bag on Ross Street early Wednesday morning around 3 a.m.
Among the suspected stolen property found inside the bag is a zip gun, hatchet, knife, forged cheques, stolen prescription and stolen identification.
At this time, police are continuing to investigate and ask that anyone who may have any information about the incident to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
