A 36 year old St. Thomas man was arrested on Sunday afternoon for sexual assault. Police report that the man was arrested by detectives from the Criminal Investigations Branch of the St. Thomas Police Service after he allegedly sexually assaulted a nineteen year old female acquaintance earlier the same day.
The 36 year old man was taken into custody without incident and was charged with Sexual Assault and later released on an Undertaking with court date.
