Grandma’s Oven Bakery and Cakes is looking to give back to frontline workers and first responders during the COVID-19 pandemic. The bakery located in Aylmer is giving away 10, $30 gift certificates for their store as a way to say thank you to everyone who is working to keep us safe.
Martha, the owner of Grandma’s Oven says the contest started as a way to help celebrate her own birthday.
Martha says she knows it can be tough during these times but they are continuing to offer different options to their customers as a result of the pandemic.
Grandma’s Oven is closed to visitors but customers are still able to order their delicious treats online for curbside pick up or free delivery within 45 minutes of their store if you spend $30 or more. Martha says they are also offering DIY cookie kits that come with premade cookies, icing and fun decorations.
Those looking to nominate someone deserving for the gift certificates can do so by emailing martha@grandmasoven.ca and the winners will be chosen on Friday (April 24).
