They are a group of car owners who just love to hop in their beloved toys and hit the road. The common thread is they are all owners of Mustangs, some dating back to the earliest models in the 1960s. During the COVID-19 pandemic, their travel options have been limited. As Doug Golding explains, that was the motivation behind a rally tomorrow (Friday) afternoon that will take them to health care facilities in St. Thomas and area to salute the front-line workers, including bus drivers.
As Golding stresses, physical distancing will be a priority throughout the afternoon.
The Mustang owners plan to visit numerous long-term care facilities plus St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on a route that will take them from St. Thomas to the Fingal area and over to Aylmer before shutting things down for the day.
