Although overnight camping is a no-go this summer, Pearce Williams Summer Camp & Retreat Facility is stepping up to support local farmers by providing an isolation centre for their temporary foreign workers.
Southwestern Public Health has approved the facility’s new status and camp director Lindsey Feltis says they are equipped to host up to 40 workers who would be isolating for 14 days.
Feltis adds they have been in contact with other health departments in order to support farmers elsewhere in the province.
Farmers in need of isolation space for their migrant workers can contact Pearce Williams at info@campisbetter.com.
