The St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation has appointed its new Executive Director. After roughly 3 months without an Executive Director, the STEGH Foundation has announced that Jacqueline Bloom will be taking over the role.
Bloom is an experienced charitable sector leader and has over 20 years experience in the healthcare sector including senior roles with organizations such as the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Spinal Cord Injury Ontario, Cystic Fibrosis Canada and, most recently, with The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation. As a fundraiser, she truly enjoys seeing humans at their best, providing financial support to help others.
Bloom and her husband are relocating back to Ontario after 3 years in the Maritimes, and she is looking forward to being closer to family and friends.
“I am thrilled to be joining the STEGH Foundation at this significant time in our lives,” says Jacqueline. “Together we will continue to deliver excellent patient care experiences at STEGH through partnerships in our community. I feel so honoured for the opportunity.”
Bloom will officially assume her new role as of Monday, June 8th.
