Those that have been craving something other than the new normal that COVID-19 restrictions have caused, will want to get out of the house on Thursday for Foodchella.
Foodchella, which will be taking place in the Geerlinks Home Hardware parking lot, will bring food trucks to the city of St. Thomas every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Local food truck Tika Tomato will be onsite and will be bringing their friends Rocky Mountain Pizza, Big Daddy Bacon, Pierogi Queen, and The Donut Diva
Co-owner of Tikka Tomato Geeta Gordon says that she and her husband Allen wanted to bring something new for the community to enjoy.
Gordon says that because of social distancing rules, they won’t have any tables set up but hope to offer that option as well as live entertainment in the future.
Gordon adds that they offer debit payment options on their truck but many others only accept cash.
