The City of St. Thomas has announced that all Aquatics Programs have been canceled for 2020.
The decision was made as a result of COVID-19 and current government and public health restrictions.
Although splash pads throughout the city are not open at this time, staff have not ruled out the possibility of opening them up later in the summer if restrictions should allow it.
City Manager Wendell Graves says also still up in the air is their decision on city camps.
Graves says they hope to have an answer for parents and campers within the next couple of weeks.
