Although it won’t be camp like usual, Pearce Williams is working to offer great summer programming for those stuck at home.
The local camp, who recently announced that they would be using their facility to support local farmers this summer by providing an isolation centre for their temporary foreign workers, haven’t forgotten about their loyal campers.
As myFM first informed you, Pearce Williams has been offering ‘virtual camp’ through their Facebook and Instagram accounts for roughly 2 months now and they have expanded that even further. Those that are interested can sign up for their ‘Camp It Yourself’ program where campers can participate in activities such as bracelet making and even a sign language class.
Camp Director at Pearce Williams Lindsey Feltis says at this time, they hope to even offer some day camps out of local churches throughout the summer.
For more information and to stay up to date with all that they are doing this summer, you can visit their Facebook Page or Instagram accounts at @campisbetter and @campityourself.
