While graduation ceremonies have fallen victim to COVID-19 restrictions, Elgin County warden Dave Mennill says these unprecedented time have taught students to be resilient and to adapt quickly.
To honour graduating students, Elgin County is recognizing them all week by encouraging residents and businesses to light up their properties in gold or yellow lights with the message Go Gold for Grads.
Mennill adds digital boards at the county administration building, long-term care homes and library branches will also display messages of congratulations.
