39 year old Allen Slauenwhite of St. Thomas is facing multiple charges after he allegedly attacked a 59 year old man.
Police report that on Thursday night around 8 p.m., Slauenwhite randomly attacked the 59 year old victim as he was out cutting his front lawn. It is alleged that Slauenwhite approached the victim and began hitting him with a wooden stake and threatening to kill him.
The 59 year old sustained injuries to his arms and side before escaping to a neighbours home to call 911. The victim did not know his attacker. Police located the suspect a short distance away and took him into custody without incident.
As a result, 39 year old Allen Slauenwhite has been charged with Assault With a Weapon, Uttering Threats to Cause Death and Breach of Release Conditions. He was held for a court appearance.
