With a steady stream of hot, humid days and nights upon us, St. Thomas Police pass along this home security reminder. With more open doors and windows, it is an invitation for break and enters and an increase in stolen property.
Police advise you never leave your garage door open and unattended. Always lock front and back doors, even if you are home and do not leave your purse, wallet or vehicle keys near a door, window or in a vehicle in the garage. Always keep them out of sight.
These tips come after a pair of break and enters earlier this week on Noble Lane and McGregor Court.
