Southwestern Public Health is reporting that only a single ongoing case of COVID-19 remains in Elgin County. With the resolution of the last remaining Malahide case, the only case still left unresolved is in Dutton Dunwich.
There has also not been a COVID-19 hospitalization at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital since April 19.
In the Southwestern Public Health coverage area, 8,865 people have been tested to date , with 8,631 negative results and just 148 pending.
