Southwestern Public Health is reporting that the last remaining COVID-19 case in Dutton Dunwich has been resolved, meaning there are now zero ongoing cases in St. Thomas and Elgin County. At this time there are still 2 active cases in the health units region, with both cases coming out of Woodstock.
In the Southwestern Public Health coverage area 13,074 people have been tested to date , with 12,776 negative results and 211 still pending.
There has also not been a COVID-19 hospitalization at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital since April 19th.
Today, Ontario is reporting 111 cases of COVID-19, a 0.3% increase over yesterday. The province also reports that 30 of Ontario’s 34 public health units are reporting five or fewer cases, with 19 of them reporting no new cases.
