Southwestern Public Health is reporting an additional 7 cases of COVID-19 today.
As of Monday, we have 25 active confirmed COVID-19 cases in our region with 3 new cases coming out of Aylmer, 2 new cases in Bayham, and 1 new case in Tillsonburg. 2 active cases are also being monitored by SWPH for 2 individuals who have an address outside of Ontario.
6 cases are now active in both St. Thomas and Bayham, with 7 cases in Aylmer, 3 in Tillsonburg, 1 in Norwich and 2 outside of Ontario, with the average age of our current active cases being 41, with 56% of them being male.
In the Southwestern Public Health coverage area 14,482 people have been tested to date , with 14,061 negative results and 309 pending.
SWPH reminds the public that it is very important we all continue to follow public health guidelines, particularly around physical distancing, keeping social circles to just 10 people, maintaining physical distancing when in large gatherings, and staying home when you feel sick.
