Sunrise Small Engines and Rental will be holding a fundraiser car wash this Saturday to benefit Natalie Ouellette and her family as they spend 3 months in Toronto while Natalie recovers from a life altering surgery.
Natalie Ouellette who you may remember from a previous story of ours, was born at 35 weeks and suffered a PVL brain bleed at birth which caused even more complications says Randi Robinson, Parts Manager at Sunrise Small Engines and Rental.
Robinson says that with the family not able stay at home, they have had to utilize hotels, resulting in a financial burden.
The Ouellette family recently suffered what they thought would be another financial set back when Natalie’s walker was taken from outside an ice cream shop in London, during a trip home to visit family. Thankfully, it was revealed this morning that the walker has been located and will be returned to the family.
All proceed from the car wash will go directly to the Ouellette family as Natalie continues to recover from the life changing SDR surgery at SickKids Hospital in Toronto.
The car wash will be running from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on August 8th and myFM will be live on location throughout the morning.
Cash and debit will be available with the car wash costing $5, however additional donations are encouraged. Sunrise Small Engines and Rental is located at 16 Sunset Drive in St. Thomas, under the Elevated Park.
