The Thames Valley District School board is asking all parents to confirm with them whether their children will be attending school in-person in September or choosing full remote learning from home by August 18th.
Parents can make their selection on the Parent Portal on tvdsb.ca.
Separate entries must be completed for each child so the Board can ensure adequate classroom space and teaching staff are in place when schools reopen.
Parents and guardians who wish their children to participate in full remote learning will be asked for additional information about access to the Internet and availability of necessary technology devices.
While schools will make every effort to accommodate families requesting to change their selection later in school year, parents and guardians should anticipate children may be placed on waiting lists due to available classroom space and staffing.
Course selections may also be impacted.
