Police officers had to administer seven doses of Narcan to revive a 25-year-old St. Thomas woman Friday evening. Around 6:30 p.m., a patrol officer discovered the woman on the ground in a St. Catharine Street parking lot.
The officer realized she had overdosed and with the help of several other officers, administered seven doses of the anti-opioid drug in addition to performing CPR to revive the woman.
She was taken to St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital for further treatment.
