Elgin OPP are sending a warning out to the community after they received complaints regarding people walking on or along the Port Stanley Terminal Rail tracks and railway bridge over Kettle Creek in the Port Stanley area.
The OPP say the tracks along with the railway bridge are considered private property and walking on or alongside them could be considered trespassing, which could result in an arrest, a fine or both. They also note the danger aspect of the activity, saying it could be harmful or deadly if a train were to come along.
They asks that the community stay safe and stay off of the railway tracks and bridge.
