Southwestern Public Health is reporting 2 new cases of COVID-19 today.
At this time SWPH and health units across the province are moving to a new database for collecting information related to COVID-19 cases and their contacts, which doesn’t allow them to provide much detail in terms of cases being announced daily.
SWPH has been able to confirm that 1 of the cases has come out of Elgin County and the other Oxford.
The health unit reports that data migration and the data validation process required for such a transition will take several days and the dashboard will not be available again until Monday, August 24th.
Southwestern Public Health will be posting the information on their social media accounts until the new database is ready.
