Southwestern Public Health is reporting two new COVID-19 cases today (Saturday), with one each in Elgin and Oxford counties. No new cases were reported today in St. Thomas.
That brings the total number of cases confirmed in the health unit’s coverage area throughout the pandemic to 244.
At this time SWPH and many other health units across the province are moving to a new database for collecting information related to COVID-19 cases and their contacts, which doesn’t allow them to provide much detail in terms of cases being announced daily.
Southwestern Public Health will be posting the information on their social media accounts until the new database is ready, which is expected to be Monday.
