As school begins Monday, Southwestern Ontario Student Transportation Services is cautioning area parents to have a back-up plan in case of service disruptions. The regional school bus authority is advising some companies have had difficulty hiring and retaining drivers during the pandemic.
As a result, some bus runs may operate late or be cancelled entirely. Any disruptions will be posted on a daily basis to give parents and guardians as much advance notice as possible.
They are asked to monitor mybigyellowbus.ca for information on cancellations and delays.
