Updated visitor protocols are now in place at Elgin county’s three long-term care facilities. These support outdoor and indoor visits for both essential and general visitors and pre-arranged short-stay and temporary absences.
Residents, families and caregivers are asked to pre-arrange all visits and limit the number of individuals to two per visit. Visitors must socially distance and follow Personal Protective Equipment and safety requirements while visiting.
Those planning to visit are asked to check the county’s website at elgincounty.ca or call the long-term care home for visit and absence updates.
