There’s now an online tool available to Ontario residents to give you a better sense of how COVID-19 is impacting schools.
The provincial government launched a tracker on their website Friday (11th), which will be updated each weekday, highlighting which schools have positive COVID-19 cases in staff and students, as well as more detailed information on where the numbers come from.
The official opposition NDP had been calling for a tracker of sorts to come into place for schools.
As of this morning (Sept 17), there are 41 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ontario schools, with 15 of them being students.
