The Digital Forensic Unit within the St. Thomas Police Service is continuing to investigate after 911 was dialed over 150 times by the same number on Sunday.
Police report that dispatchers were overwhelmed after an unknown person called 911 over 150 times using a Voice Over Internet Phone.
The caller refused to identify themselves or confirm if there was an emergency or not.
Efforts to trace the VOIP calls were unsuccessful using the 911 system and as a result the incident has been turned over to the Digital Forensic Unit, assisted by Detectives for further investigation.
