Southwestern Public Health’s coverage area has now gone more than a week without a new confirmed COVID-19 case. The health unit this morning reported another resolved case in Woodstock, bringing their case count down to five. The lone case in Elgin county is in Central Elgin.
Half of the ongoing confirmed cases involve individuals aged 20 to 29.
There are no coronavirus hospitalizations in the health unit’s coverage area.
The number of resolved cases now stands at 252.
