Southwestern Public Health reported this morning (Monday) a second confirmed St. Thomas case, with no other new cases reported in Elgin or across the health unit’s coverage area. There are four ongoing cases in Woodstock.
Half of the ongoing confirmed cases involve individuals aged 20 to 29, with no one hospitalized at this time.
A total of 168 tests were conducted at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Friday, down from 198 the day before.
The number of resolved cases remains at 254.
Ontario is reporting 700 cases this morning, 60 per cent of those individuals are under the age of 40.
