The St. Thomas Police have laid charges after a man armed with a knife allegedly stood in the middle of Woodworth Avenue damaging vehicles.
It is reported that a motorist was traveling along on Woodworth Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday when a man in the street threw an unknown object at the vehicle causing damage to the hood.
The driver then called the police and when officers arrived on scene they spotted a man armed with a knife approaching another vehicle.
Police spoke with the man who dropped the knife and was arrested without incident.
As a result, he has been charged with Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Mischief, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Counterfeit Money, and Breach of Release Order.
