Firehouse Subs has officially opened in St. Thomas. The new restaurant opened their doors at 1055 Talbot Street on Monday under the ownership of Franchisees Phil Dawson, Bill Carr and Teresa Cavaliere, who have a close connection to St. Thomas.
This is the 8th location opened for this group of restaurateurs, who are excited to expand into the area and continue making a positive impact through Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation of Canada, which has already awarded more than $20,000 to the St. Thomas Fire Department for a Bullex Fire Extinguisher Training System.
This year, these franchisees also partnered with the Foundation to donate nearly 200 boxed lunches to healthcare workers at St. Thomas Elgin Hospital working on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new Firehouse Subs restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week and guests are able to order takeout at the counter inside, over the phone or online.
