A gale warning and waterspout watch have been issued for the Lake Erie shoreline.
Gusty southwest winds today and tomorrow could result in a wave uprush in the Port Bruce area leading to shoreline erosion.
Residents are urged to exercise caution and stay away from shoreline areas including Port Stanley, experiencing strong wave action and elevated water levels.
Parents are reminded to keep children and pets away from these areas.
The watershed conditions statement from the Catfish Creek Conservation Authority is in effect until noon Friday.
