A gofundme has been set for the family of a 15 year old boy who was the victim of a tragic skateboarding accident that occurred in Port Stanley.
On Saturday (Oct 3), Branden Pettit was out riding his skateboard when he either lost control, hit a stone or just lost his balance while riding down the George Street hill in Port Stanley, hitting his head becoming non responsive.
There was a doctor on the scene who was visiting his family at the time and was able to revive Branden and help with the collapsed lung he got as a result.
Tragically, the injuries to his head were too great and on Monday (Oct 5), he was pronounced brain dead.
Branden’s mother and father have decided to donate some of his organs, and have him live on through helping others.
