The Thames Valley District School Board is making 2 major changes to its in class model for secondary school students.
Beginning in Quadmester 2, (Nov 17) high school students who have been using the current schedule of 2 days in class with 3 days of at home learning or vice versa, will now be attending school every other day to ensure students don’t go up to 3 days without in class instruction.
Associate Director of Education Riley Culhane says the 2nd change is the daily schedule for those students.
He added that students who do not require a bus to get home are then able to leave at lunch, allowing for even more physical distancing in classrooms and hallways.
More information about the changes will be sent to parents and students in the coming days.
