Schools in St. Thomas and Elgin County are continuing to do well in the fight against COVID-19 as cases begin to increase elsewhere.
Wednesday saw the largest single day increase since the province began tracking cases at schools with 144 confirmed cases.
Over the past two weeks, there have been 823 positive school related cases across Ontario.
Locally, we’ve only seen a single student case come out of Mitchell Hepburn Public School, which has since been resolved.
However the Thames Valley District School Board continues to see new cases with 7 active at the moment, compared to the London District Catholic School Board who have not reported any cases.
