A local runner will be spending the day on Saturday running 100 km’s to help raise funds to support the Ontario LGBT Youth Line.
Travis Vandevenne announced these plans in early July after a race he was looking forward to was canceled as a result of COVID-19, vowing to make 2020 a positive year for as many people as possible.
In doing so, Vandevenne is collecting donations for his 100 km run which is roughly the equivalent of 2 and a half marathons.

The LGBT YouthLine is a Queer, Trans, Two-Spirit* youth-led organization that affirms and supports the experiences of youth (29 and under) across Ontario by:
Providing anonymous peer support and referrals;
Training youth to provide support to other youth; and
Providing resources so youth can make informed decisions.
