Especially if there are very young children in your family. Again this year, Southwestern Public health is offering appointment-only flu clinics for families with children under the age of five. Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Joyce Lock, explains the importance of immunizing young children.

She adds, if you can’t access a flu shot through primary care or a pharmacy, contact the health unit to book an appointment.
