Ontario is reporting 1,328 new cases of COVID-19 this morning (Sunday) while Southwestern Public Health is advising of two new cases and five resolved. At the present time there are no cases in St. Thomas.
There are now 47 confirmed ongoing cases in the health unit’s coverage area, with 32 in Bayham, six in Woodstock, four in Norwich and single cases in Aylmer, East Zorra-Tavistock, Ingersoll, Tillsonburg and SW Oxford.
One individual is hospitalized in the ICU.
There is an ongoing case involving a staff member at Secord Trails in Ingersoll.
Thirty-three of the cases are individuals under the age of 50.
The number of resolved cases is 322.
Back to the provincial numbers, there are 434 new cases in Toronto, 385 in Peel, 105 in York Region, 71 in Ottawa, 68 in Hamilton and 56 in Durham. There are 877 more resolved cases and nearly 37,600 tests completed.
