Elgin OPP are investigating the suspicious death of a German shepherd that appears to have been shot. The dog was found around 9:20 a.m. Friday by an area hunter off the Calton Swamp parking lot at 7698 Carter Road in Malahide.
The dog had no ID collar or tags and appeared to have suffered a .22 caliber gunshot wound.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Elgin OPP or CrimeStoppers.
