Calling it a time to double down on self-care, Western University has announced an extended holiday break for students.
Western will close on December 22 at 6:30 p.m. after the last exam has been written.
With the approval of Senate, the holiday break for students will be extended. Classes will now resume on January 11.
The university is also offering all Western employees two flex days to use between January 4 and May 31 of next year.
In a letter to students, faculty and staff, Western President Alan Shepard stressed the holiday break is important. “Please, take the time to take care of yourself.”
