The winter weather has already hit the area and for many of us that may mean beginning to prepare for the holiday season or getting your winter tires put on, but for some of the most vulnerable in our community, all they’re worried about is how they will survive the cold.
The St. Thomas and District Labour Council is concerned for those in our community and in partnership with the YWCA is hoping to Share the Warmth this season by holding a collection event from now until December 6th.
All donations will be processed through the YWCA and will then be shared with other community organizations.
Drop off locations include…
YWCA, Monday – Friday 9 – 5 (closed 12-1pm)
16 Mary St West, St. Thomas, ON, N5P 2S3 Behind the post office on Talbot St.
STDLC will also be accepting donations at their booth during the EML Parade this weekend from Dec 4th to Dec 6th
