A second positive case of COVID-19 has been identified by Southwestern Public Health at East Elgin Secondary School in Aylmer.
The Thames Valley District School Board immediately notified staff, and parents and guardians of all East Elgin Secondary School students. The school will remain open and school buses will continue to operate.
The health unit is currently investigating the case and is in the process of identifying close contacts and following up directly to provide specific testing advice.
The first case at the school was reported over the weekend.
