The Thames Valley District School Board has reported a second confirmed case of COVID-19 at Davenport Public School in Aylmer.
The school board has notified staff, parents and guardians at Davenport and Southwestern Public Health is in the process of identifying close contacts and following up directly to provide specific testing advice.
The school will remain open and school buses will continue to operate.
There is currently 1 active case at Summers’ Corners Public School, 1 case at New Sarum Public School, 2 cases at Davenport Public School, 2 cases at Elgin Court Public School, 1 case at Parkside Collegiate Institute, and 3 cases at East Elgin Secondary School.
The London District Catholic School Boards reports zero active cases in schools with in St. Thomas/Elgin.
